president goes to indianapolis to speak to the veterans of foreign wars convention. he plans to talk about iraq, the imminent withdraw of combat troops, of course. saw those dramatic pictures last week crossing the border. now we have the vice president set to speak today in indianapolis. of course, he made some controversial comments earlier this summer, walking right up to taking credit for success in the iraq war as the administration sees it. notwithstanding withdrawing them on time but success as a whole and drew scoffing from former vice president biden. meanwhile, the white house announced yesterday the white house making that address on iraq, walking a fine line between mission accomplished, he doesn't want to do that, and drawing attention to the fact that he is meeting the august 31st deadline for withdrawing come bas forces and there are still 50,000 u.s. forces remaining in iraq, at least until the end of next year, chuck. >> all right. mike viqueira in a very windy and perhaps rainy martha's vineyard and guessing no golf in the president today. thanks very much. >> reporter: d

indianapolis. overall, what is the white house message here? >> reporter: it's interesting you should bring this up, alex. we learned the president will give a speech upon returning to washington. he's on here for another week in martha's vineyard. he'll go to new orleans to observe the fifth anniversary of hurricane katrina. then he'll give an address on the iraqi troop withdrawal. it was last week they went over the kuwait border ending the combat mission that officially ends august 31st. it falls on a tuesday. we don't know what day the president is going to be speaking. tuesday is a good guess. he spoke to the american disabled veterans convention in atlanta when he said the war of the combat mission would end as promised and as on schedule. we can expect the president to reinforce that. vice president biden will be in indianapolis tomorrow to speak to the vfw about the end of the combat mission in iraq. a lot of people are quick to point out there are 50,000 american troops left in iraq. they are capable or combat ready. by all accounts the level of violence sunk there somewhat not wit

. both of these industries have been crushed. indianapolis, the most affordable big city in america and has been that way actually for a few years. detroit, you know the story there. people have been leaving. people have been foreclosed on, so the price of a home there is a good deal. and, of course, buffalo new york. of that's been going on for some time. buffalo saw its hey day around the war and that time. and hasn't really had a growth in its industry since then. buffalo, by the way, has some lovely old houses, because back when it was booming, they just built really beautiful houses there. detroit has a fantastic airport and good highways and great restaurants. so if you have some reason to be there, you're going to get the best deal you can get on a house in some of those areas. but you will notice they are all concentrated in that area. go to cnnmoney.com, and they'll show you the list of the top most affordable places and least affordable places. my old home in new york tops the least affordable places to live in the united states. you want more on money >>> speaking of "you
